What competitions do you run?
St George Touch Association runs both Junior and Senior competitions each year.
The Junior Competition is open to all playing abilities for kids turning 5 that year all the way up to 17 in our Youth division. It is a fun, family-based atmosphere on Monday afternoon / evenings where teamwork and development is encouraged, We are lucky enough to have a wonderful group of ex-representative players and coaches available to assist junior players, with many of our members now having kids themselves and keen to give something back to our Club and the community. Junior players can register as a team or as an individual looking to join a team via our easy registration process. The Junior Competition typically runs from Term 3 of the school year (early September) through to Term 4 (late November / early December). During the competition, junior players can look to make the transition to our representative teams through trials.
Our Senior Autumn Competition is on Monday nights typically starting early April and finishing early July and our Senior Spring Competition in on Monday nights typically starting in early September and finishing early December.
How much does it cost?
Junior Competition registration fees are typically $90 per season, which includes: a playing shirt and end of season gift. Active Kids vouchers can be applied to offset this cost via our registration process where eligible.
Our Senior Competition registration fees are typically around $100 per season.
We are a not-for-profit association run by unpaid volunteers, and we are committed to keeping these necessary costs as low as possible. Players and parents please be advised that for the first touch football registration process each financial year (1 July to 30 June), a Touch Football Australia individual membership fee and New South Wales Touch Association individual membership fee is applicable.
