JUNIOR STATE CUP 2023, SOUTHERN CONFERENCE INFORMATION FOR PARENTS/PLAYERS
The Junior State Cup 2023, Southern Conference will be taking place on Friday 17th – Sunday 19th February 2023. The tournament will be held at Jubilee Sports Ground, Wagga Wagga, NSW. Players/parents will normally spend the Thursday (the day before) traveling to the tournament.
Attendance at training and gala days is compulsory. Updates/information for each team will be communicated to you by your team coaches. All players are expected to abide by the code of conduct & expectations set by the club. Players must also be registered in our local competition to be eligible for JSC 2023. Please remember all coaches/referees/club officials are volunteers and give up their precious time to ensure players have the opportunity to play touch and represent their club.
It is recommended that parents/players source their own accommodation ASAP for the specified dates. Whilst the club may be able to acquire accommodation, this is not a guarantee as bookings fill up fast in Wagga Wagga.
Approximate costs for the JSC 2023 campaign:
- $110 (approx.) – NSW Touch JSC Online Registration
- $80 – St George Rep Fee (covers referees, ground hire, tent hire, ice, equipment, insurance)
- $105 – Uniform (playing shorts, playing singlet, socks – players who have the existing uniform will not need to pay for this)
- Additional gear is also available for purchase (backpack, training singlets, hoodie, hats)
Trial Dates:
Trials for Junior State Cup will take place on Wednesday 19th October 2023, at Peakhurst Park. Please complete this Expression of Interest form if you are interested in trialing.
